About

Wole Abu is driving Africa’s integration into the global digital economy through the development of critical digital infrastructure. As Managing Director of Equinix West Africa, he is enabling data exchange, cloud adoption, and enterprise connectivity across the region. His leadership positions Nigeria as a key node in the global internet ecosystem, attracting international tech giants to invest in local data residency and digital services.

Abu holds a B.Eng. from the University of Benin and an MBA from the Lagos Business School, and is an alumnus of MIT and the Indian Institute of Management. With over two decades of experience in telecommunications, including leadership roles at Liquid Intelligent Technologies and Pan African Towers, he is building the digital backbone that powers innovation and ensures African businesses can compete at a world-class level.
