About

Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu is a respected business leader and economic strategist shaping Lagos State’s reform landscape. As the Governor of Lagos State, he drives critical collaboration between the government and the private sector. His career began at Lead Merchant Bank before he moved to the United Bank for Africa (UBA) and later served as MD/CEO of the Lagos State Development and Property Corporation (LSDPC), where he modernized the state's urban development infrastructure. He holds a B.Sc. in Surveying and Geo-Informatics from the University of Lagos and an MBA from the same institution. An alumnus of Lagos Business School, London Business School, and Harvard Kennedy School, Sanwo-Olu is also an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM). His expertise in technology, finance, and governance continues to influence growth, investment, and national development.
