As the Managing Director/ CEO of the Ministry of Finance Incorporated (MOFI), he oversees the management and restructuring of the federal government's investment portfolio to maximize national returns. His extensive career includes senior leadership roles at the African Development Bank (AfDB) and various global consultancy firms where he specialized in infrastructure and private sector development.

He holds a B.Sc. in Economics from Ahmadu Bello University and a Ph.D. in the same field. With a background that spans international finance and policy reform, Katang is a strategic architect of Nigeria’s asset-linked revenue goals. His expertise in portfolio management and financial engineering continues to influence the country's fiscal stability and wealth creation strategies.
